CALL FOR PARTICIPATIONS

The conference aims to connect theoretical approaches and professional practices by addressing the DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION from the perspective of LIS community, information managers, librarians, and archivists. 

Submissions may address the following topics, or any other relevant subthemes:

  • Digital Transformation: Training of Library and Information Science (LIS) Students and Professionals

TYPES OF CONTRIBUTIONS

Contributions that address theoretical examination of the theme, present current research and examine advances in application and practice are invited.

We welcome and encourage submission of high-quality, original contributions which have not been previously presented or published elsewhere, in the form of a Full-paper, Poster, Pecha Kucha or Best Practices (with video or Power Point Presentation). Webinars and virtual hand-on sessions provided by groups of students are also welcome.

All proposals will be refereed in a double-blind process and must follow formal guidelines available at BOBCATSSS 2021 website.

Proposals will not be further reviewed if these guidelines are not observed. The conference language is English and all work should be in English. If English is not your first language, we strongly recommend that your manuscript be edited by a native English speaker.

Submission of proposals should be made using the online submission system.

All accepted full-papers and abstracts (for other types of contributions) will be published in the online symposium Proceedings (published with ISBN under a Creative Commons Attribution License CC BYNC-ND 4). The e-book will be available via the conference website.

Please note that at least one of the authors:

  • must register for the conference in order for a paper to be accepted in the program;

  • must pay the conference fee not later than January 6th, 2021 to be finally accepted and published in the Proceedings.

All accepted contributions will be published in the online symposium proceedings.
